Star Info: My name is Aja and I'm a professional model living in New York. Although I was born and raised in Louisiana, my family ancestry is of Egyptian and North African descent...hence the name Ajalari.
I started modeling and competing in beauty pageants when I was seventeen. In the time I've been modeling I've met some really great people, including photographers, other models and make-up artists who have given me some great advice, tons of encouragement and positive responses.
Three years ago I started competing in Fitness competitions. Competing in Fitness has been one of the most challenging things I have done in my life. Balancing work, family, and training is really difficult. Fitness has not only challenged me physically, but also mentally and spiritually. I have become a stronger person because of what I have learned about myself. To know that I have encouraged someone else to follow their dream is the biggest accomplishment that I can gain."
Last year I became the 2X NABF National Fitness Champion, this year I'm focusing on becoming a top level NPC Figure & Fitness competitor. I've won local fitness shows in the past. With the introduction of the NPC Figure class, I have a better chance of receiving my pro (IFBB) card. The challenge for me, is to be the best that I can be.
I most recently started my own personal training business Personally Fit which is doing extremely well. I love sharing my fitness knowledge to help others achieve their goals!!
The most important part of my training without a doubt comes from my friends, family and fans, who encourage me, have faith in me and in my passion to exceed. There is personal satisfaction in setting a goal and applying the dedication required to achieve it. I am grateful to have such wonderful people in my life that I am able to share those experiences with.
I have some very exciting things happening in the very near future and I look forward to sharing them with everyone who has supported and encouraged me. I also look forward to hearing from everyone who visits my new site.
